Crossroads Rotary Club

Rotary International is a worldwide service organization whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, enhance health, empower youth, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self. Rotary has a family of over 1.2 million people in more than 214 countries and over 35,000 locations around the globe.

The San Bernardino/Loma Linda Crossroads Rotary club has been serving the community and supporting charitable causes around the world since 1967. The foundation of club activity is club service, vocational service, community service, international service, and new generations service. The club has raised money and given time and energy to benefit many worthy causes, some of these are dedicating time and money into problems of homelessness in the Inland Empire and human trafficking, the Unforgettables Foundation which helps families who have lost a child, sending aid to flood victims, among many.

To support to so many wonderful causes, Crossroads Rotary holds and participates in many events. Besides weekly meetings, the Rotary hosts functions including a big pancake breakfast, several auctions, an upcoming golf tournament, a disaster backpack kit sale, providing a mobile clinic, holding a speech contest, hosting mixers and many more.

Owner and founder of GoodFaith Medical Transportation Co., Inc ., a non-emergency medical transportation serving the medical transportation needs of the community for almost 24 years, Connie Threlkel, joined Crossroads Rotary in 2014, where she now heads the Club Service Committee. Crossroads Rotary Club meets on Wednesdays, at San Bernardino Golf Club in San Bernardino City. At the meetings, there is a buffet lunch served at 12:10 and the meeting starts at 12:30pm. It is a wonderful group which Connie has found great value in being a member. Recently, she sponsored a new member, Eleanor Posner.

Here they are at the meeting when Eleanor and other new members were inducted:
