The Rotary motto is Service Above Self. Rotary has a family of over 1.2 million people in more than 214 countries and over 35,000 locations around the globe.
The San Bernardino/Loma Linda Crossroads Rotary club has been serving the community and supporting charitable causes around the world since 1967. The foundation of club activity is club service, vocational service, community service, international service, and new generations service. The club has raised money and given time and energy to benefit many worthy causes, some of these are dedicating time and money into problems of homelessness in the Inland Empire and human trafficking, the Unforgettables Foundation which helps families who have lost a child, sending aid to flood victims, among many.
To support to so many wonderful causes, Crossroads Rotary holds and participates in many events. Besides weekly meetings, the Rotary hosts functions including a big pancake breakfast, several auctions, an upcoming golf tournament, a disaster backpack kit sale, providing a mobile clinic, holding a speech contest, hosting mixers and many more.
